From spoken words to usable text

01

Speed

Get a transcript without waiting through the recording. Processing runs in the background, and the result updates when it is ready.

02

Clear transcripts

Readable speech recognition depends on the recording. Review and correct every segment in the built-in editor.

03

Audio and video files

Upload supported audio and video files up to your plan's file size limit.

04

Speakers and timestamps

Separate recognized speakers and keep segment start and end times for easier review.

05

Edit and export

Correct transcript segments, then download TXT, DOCX, SRT or VTT.

06

Private by default

Your recordings are private. Free-plan audio is removed after 30 days while transcripts stay in your account; anonymous trial records are removed after 30 days.

FAQ

Voice recording transcription questions

Can I try it without an account?

Yes. You can transcribe up to 30 minutes once without an account. Create a Free account for a separate 60 minutes every UTC calendar month.

How many free minutes do I get?

A Free account includes 60 minutes per UTC calendar month, up to 30 minutes per file and 3 files per day. The no-account trial is separate: 30 minutes once, with no monthly reset.

What happens when I use up my minutes?

Transcription stops until your allowance resets. Completed transcripts stay in your history and can still be edited and exported.

Do unused minutes roll over?

No. Your allowance resets at the start of each UTC calendar month and does not accumulate.

How long are my files kept?

Free-plan audio is removed 30 days after upload. Your transcript stays in your account, so you can still read, edit and export it; only audio playback goes away. On paid plans, audio and transcripts stay until you delete them. Anonymous trial recordings and transcripts are removed 30 days after upload if the account remains anonymous. If you link a Google account first, Free-plan retention applies and the transcript stays.

Can I cancel anytime?

Cancel anytime from the billing portal in your dashboard. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, then drops to the free plan. From that date, free-plan retention applies: your existing audio is removed 30 days later, while every transcript stays in your account. Download anything you want to keep before then. Minutes used in the current period are not refunded.

Which file formats are supported?

Currently verified formats are MP3, MPGA, MP2, WAV, WAVE, BWF, M4A, MP4A, AAC, FLAC, OGG, OGA, OPUS, MOGG, AMR, AWB, WMA, AC3, EAC3, AIF, AIFF, AIFC, CAF, AU, SND, GSM, VOC, MP4, M4V, MOV, WEBM, MKV, AVI, FLV, M2TS, MTS, TS, 3GP, 3G2 and MPEGTS. DRM-protected M4P files are not accepted.

What is the maximum file size?

Anonymous trial uploads allow up to 100 MB; Free allows 200 MB; Basic allows 1000 MB; Standard and Pro allow 2048 MB. Less common formats that browsers cannot inspect are limited to 200 MB on every plan.

How long does transcription take?

Transcription runs in the background. Completion time varies with file length, audio conditions and current processing load. You can leave the page and return to the transcript to check its status.

How accurate is the transcript?

We use the most accurate model available for each language: 18 languages use Universal-3.5 Pro and the others automatically use Universal-2. Accuracy still varies with recording quality, accents, background noise and overlapping speech, so review names, numbers and important details.
